Designer’s Perspective
Kimberly absolutely loves colorful flowers. Following our recommendation, we outfitted the tables with a light cafe mocha toned linen and blonde chairs. This allowed for the colorful floral to stand out amongst a neutral base without taking away the impact of the ficus-covered perimeter. We also added pink Amalfi umbrellas to bring a touch of warm toned pink to draw the line of sight upward. We made the conscious decision to limit the number of large candles and opted to stick with votives only. The conservatory does experience high temps in June in Michigan.
Lastly, we had a blast dual-purposing the ceremony arch and aisle florals. What started as the most show-stopping arch and aisle flowers turned into an equally amazing backdrop and foreground to a precious sweetheart table. Overall, the design left our couple completely speechless. Meanwhile our team felt so proud of the beauty we created in a space already known for it’s stunning nature.
