Laura + Bobby’s Eagle Eye Golf Club wedding was a classic, modern stunner. Laura and her lovely mom, Theresa, came to us nearly 15 months prior to their wedding to book us as their florist and event designer. This wedding was, to say the least, hard to wait for it to happen. Once we had the design in place, we wanted to execute it NOW.

Greenery Installation
This was actually an add on much closer to the wedding date. Eagle Eye Golf Club generously allowed us the ability to hang greenery from their chandeliers. Their ideal placement in the room meant we HAD to add lush greenery to them. They have 3 perfectly spaced along the center of the room, and one centered in the alcove that perfectly accented the additional bar area. Even my husband commented on how much the greenery installations completed the entire look of the room…and he’s a man who thinks bright orange is an earth tone. Woof. We also created delicate mixed greenery garlands for their welcome signage and sweetheart table. This perfectly accented their custom champagne bucket at the sweetheart table.
Floor plan
One of the things we loved the most about this wedding was the couple’s willingness to have a unique floor plan. Most venues will offer rounds guest tables, and the most fun we are able to have with a layout is what style of head table and where to place it. Laura knew she wanted a sweetheart table and something unique.
Execution of Floor plan
We placed the round tables in the middle of the room and ran end to end banquet style tables along each side of the rounds. We broke the long family-style tables up into 4 sections of 3 tables thus creating 4-24’ long guest tables. This completely changed the overall look and feel of the room we’ve designed hundreds of time. This one felt and looked different than all the others.
Centerpieces
Laura loved a classic green and white centerpiece with a variety of mixed greens and white florals. For the round tables we alternated lush greenery compote designs with tall gold candelabras that had mixed greenery garlands. On the long banquet tables, we designed lush, substantial green and white florals on our gold rectangular Biltmore stands. We placed mix and match boutique bud vases, gold taper candle holders and votives along the tabletop below the stands.
Accents + Rentals
Each table was adorned with a stunning, ivory dupioni linen, gold acrylic charger plate and gold chiavari chair. Placed atop each charger plate was an ivory napkin and a classic black and white menu card. As a bonus accent, we added a small sprig of parvifolia eucalyptus with each menu card. The couple provided their own gold table numbers. These looked as if we had them custom made with our branded leaf encircling the number. We also rented a gorgeous white bar adorned with gold mirrors and added smilax greenery to the underside of the bartop. This second bar ensured their guests would have adequate access for drink refills. Special shoutout to Modern Day Collective for providing the bar rental.

- How much the bride absolutely loved her bouquet! The feeling of handing a bride her bouquet on the big day is a hard feeling to replicate.
- Getting to finally work with Kelly Braman Photography.
- Having the bridesmaids give you a round of applause when you walk in and say, “Emily you rocked it!”
- Having random people walk into the room as we were designing and say, “Whoa!”
