01. What is Your Favorite Book or Series?
My all-time favorite book series would have to be the Harry Potter series, it is a truly one of a kind storyline, and there are so many elements that make the books amazing. It is a series of books that takes you on a wild adventure into a world that it full of excitement and danger around every corner. Another aspect of the series I place a lot of value in is that many of the underlying principles within the book, such as the importance of friendship and trust, can be applied to real life. I think every person on this earth should read this series. Especially, the sixth book (Half Blood Prince) which happens to be my favorite in the series. And remember as Albus Dumbledore once wisely stated “Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times when one only remembers to turn on the light.”
02. Your Zodiac Sign:
I was born on the 27th of September, making me a Libra. I have many Libra-specific personality traits and reflect on how I look at the world. Some aspects of my personality I consider true based on my sign would be that I am cooperative, diplomatic, fair-minded, and social.
03. Favorite Food
Growing up I would go to this local place called Sam’s Italian Restaurant. They have some of the best Italian food that I have ever had and it has been owned by the same family for fifty years. Located on the appetizer portion of their menu is my favorite food on this earth and it is called SAMARITOS. This amazing culinary feat is basically pizza dough scraps cut up and deep-fried with a salty seasoning on top and served with their homemade meat sauce. It’s like little fried bread pockets of heaven.
04. Favorite Quote
I have two favorite quotes, one by Albus Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series “It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.” My other favorite quote is from Winne the Pooh “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” Both of these quotes have kept me on track for a large portion of my life and remind me that I can do anything if I set my mind to it and make the right choices.
05. If You Could Only Choose One Vacation Destination Where Would You Pick And Why?
At this point in my life if I could only pick one vacation destination it would have to be Iceland. I know, I know, everyone thinks it’s crazy that I wouldn’t prefer to go to a beach destination, but honestly, there are so many amazing things to see in Iceland. From the black sand beaches, breathtaking waterfalls, and amazing local cuisine and culture to explore I think it would be an amazing experience.
06. If You Were To Create A Slogan For Your Life, What Would The Slogan Be?
“It is what it is”
07. Favorite Show/Movie/Youtuber/Blog etc…
One thing that is important to know about me is that I am a huge historical fiction nerd. Firstly, Outlander. An English World War II combat nurse travels back in time from 1948 to 1743 in the Scottish Highlands and it continues along her story of love, loss, and betrayal as she navigates this new world she has fallen into. The other show that I love would be Peaky Blinders it is based in Birmingham, England during the early 1920s through the 1930s. It is based on a family of Romany Gypsy’s who are gangsters. The three brothers are the main characters and the story follows their ambition to rise from the streets and portrays how they systematically become the most powerful and notorious gangsters of the time period.
08. What Makes You Laugh The Most?
When myself and another person (friend or family) are our authentic and goofy selves and just do ridiculous things and laugh through it.
09. What One Accomplishment Are You Most Proud Of?
One accomplishment that I am most proud of is getting into nursing school, and completing my first year successfully at Rochester University in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
10. What’s The Most Exciting Thing That Has Happened In Your Life Recently?
With all of the heartbreak and worry surrounding the year 2020, it has not been all hand sanitizer and face masks for myself. I recently got engaged to the love of my life. His name is Cap Wilson and we met and fell in love when I was 16 and he was 17. I couldn’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else. I look forward to all the adventures that the journey we call life has coming for us in the future.
