Our first January wedding could not have been more perfect! This literary-themed reception was so much fun to design and create. It took a lot of creative planning and styling, as well as the help of Denice (design), Bill and Tyler (the awesome photo taking/lighting duo), but we were able to create something truly unique and meaningful to the bride and groom!
When the bride told us she would be doing a literary themed wedding with books and teacups, we could not contain our excitement! Creating something with gorgeous teacups, pedestal vases, and some of the greatest reads of all time, we knew immediately this wedding would be one to remember.
Her stunning bridal flowers were filled with airy and textured blooms, including gorgeous succulents, to create a soft antique inspired design. We were lucky enough to have white snow to create a soft backdrop to capture these stunning bouquets. Also, peonies in winter….yes, please!
With such detailed centerpieces, the bride opted for a simple matte satin hunter green runner across the table provided by AGE, with linens provided by the University Club of MSU. From there, we created custom and completely unique centerpieces for each and every table. There was so much glassware and books to work with that we had to be very strategic about where we placed everything and how to make each table feel like the best of the best that AGE can provide! Not to mention they had a welcome sign in the form of an antique typewriter and a card catalog as a place card display! It was amazing!
We can’t stop looking at these! Each one has something completely new and exciting and we were glad to hear that the bride & groom, their family/guests, and even the U-Club staff truly loved it! We are so happy we could help make your vision come to life Mr. & Mrs. Quimby! Congratulations and we wish you nothing but the absolute best!
